Copenhagen architect designers GamFratesi have created a sleek picnic basket for Ligne Roset a luxury French designer furniture store. The shape of the basket is modeled after a traditional sewing storage unit and is updated to provide a new function thats more relevant to todays society. The adapted design exudes style with softly curved lines for a contemporary feel.

The piece is simply called Picnic and is said to take on another dimension altogether one which is both familiar and strange. The basket replaces traditional oak or cherry wood with black-stained ash wood instead.

I’m not one for bold earrings on an everyday basis. I usually stick to pretty little studs for my t-shirt and jeans days, but these beauties are so easy breezy , I think I could pop them on with just about anything…

Social Media is an effective tool as its open to the public and can be accessed almost everywhere, especially since smartphones have become available.

The days of when you would write to the Head Office or ring them to speak to a human being, rather than listening to an automated voice on the line and annoyingly having to press a hundred numbers to speak to the correct person, are becoming a distant memory.

More and more people are now likely to update their status or send out a tweet to their followers outlining their thoughts and opinions on experience they have had with organisations.
